Official sources are what we use, we show our math, and we fix errors fast.

Sources for our facts

We draw plan rules from studentaid.gov and the Federal Register. The source for poverty lines is HHS. Beside every key fact, we provide a link to its source.

The way we check the math

The table printed on the page is also the one read by the calculator. One source gives one number. Before every update, we test it using low, middle and high incomes.

Corrections
